Which book do you like the best? What kind? Fiction, non- fiction, mystery, or adventure? I like a lot of books. My favorite kind of books is.......... adventure? Some people might think...... I hate adventure books? Well not you might not! Right now I am reading a story called " Dragon Rider". It is by Cornelia Funke. Her books are super great! You ( readers) just have to read! I predict you will like it very much! I have read Inkheart, Inkspell, Thief Lord all written by Cornelia Funke! Read it! If you read it, you can post a comment in my blog! Music

What kind of music do you like the best? Pop, Jazz, or Country music? I like pop the best! When I hear pop music, it makes me jump and dance! There is not just one way you listen to music, you can also play the piano, drums, recorder or the guitar! I play the piano. Every time I play the piano, it makes me think that I am on a huge stage, and that everyone is listening! When do you listen to music? When you sad, happy, scared, nervous or sick? I listen to music when I am happy or sad. I listen to pop when I am happy, and jazz when I am sad. Music is part of our life! We all listen to music almost........everyday!

Is it fair..............or not?

Last week, the art teacher told my classmate to bring supplies for our graduation chair. The graduation chair is something we do at our school. We have to decorate it as cool as you can. So, my group begin to talk about who should bring what. Because I was sick that day, so I could not discuss about it with them. When I went to school the next day, they told be to bring two 300NT spray bottles and one white and black cloth. Spray bottles is something you shake and the color you want comes out. It is very alike paint, expect you spray it, not paint it. I thought it was not fair. I would have to spend about 700NT on a chair. I told my classmate about what I thought, and she said," You did not say that yesterday!". After I got home, I discussed about this problem with my parents. Then,I wrote a very long not to my classmate. At last, she understood the problem and said sorry. Now, it's all just fine!

Nancy Drew

My favorite part:
My favorite part is when Nancy Drew finds the will in the chinese box. Why is it my favorite part? That is because she can help people. She can help Jane and her father have money. She also can help people who are single mothers like her.

Super Great Movies

Last week, I saw two great movies, Equilibrium and Big Fish. Equilibrium is about a person's feelings. The master gave all the people pill, so that their feelings would all be the same. One day, that person did not eat his pill. When he didn't eat his pill he had his own feeling and so the master wanted to kill him. But because he was very strong, he did not get killed. Big Fish is about a father telling his own life story to his son. One day, his son doesn't believe him anymore, so he goes into his father's office and slowly finds the real him.

After the Graduation Trip

After the graduation trip, my classmates and I said,"It was soooooooooooo fun!" The graduation trip was really fun. That night, I couldn't imagine sleeping with my friends! At first we were really noisy, but when the teacher came to check if we were all asleep, it was quite. The next morning, we ate breakfast. I thought there would be bread, but there wasn't any bread. There was fish, hot milk, french fries, and fried pork. I wasn't really used to it! When it was time to BBQ, I got excited! After a few minutes, it was not so cool. Our group could not get the fire on. All I ate was a hot dog and a piece of meat! I was not full! So, I went to a food store and brought something to eat! After the BBQ it was time to go home.

My Graduation Trip

Next Monday, March 3rd to March 4th, I am going to have my graduation trip. My class and I are going to a farm, and have BBQ! i think it is going to be great! This morning I packed the things I wanted to bring , and it was full! I will need I bigger bag, I guess. Our schedule is : 1. We all get together at 7:50 in the morning. 2. We get on the bus and go to the farm. 3. When we get there, we put our things in the hotel and start play. 4. when it starts to get dark, we go back to our hotel and sleep. 5. The next morning, we all wake up at 6:30 6. We look around the farm and feed baby cows. 7. we start to BBQ. 8. ( the last one) we ride the bus back to school! This is our schedule, and I hope the weather is good. P.s After the graduation trip is over, i will write a blog again !

Winter Mountain Lake

This Saturday, my parents, my parent's friends,kids and I went to Winter Mountain Lake in Ilan, Taiwan. Winter Mountain Lake is a park and a place to practice riding a 2 wheel bicycle or a 4 wheel bicycle. When I arrived there, I saw a store that rents bicycles. You can rent one for 100 nt every two hours. At first, I wanted to rent a bicycle that had four seats, then my dad said that I needed to practice riding a bicycle, so I rented a small one. When I started riding a 2 wheel bicycle, my dad controlled me. Then my mom said," Michelle will not be able to balance herself if you go so slow! Let her have her own speed!" At first, my dad did not listen, but when his friend told him the same thing. he listened. I could go as fast as I wanted. Soon, I got used to it. My mom and dad try to let go of me. Although I fell down a few times, my dad told me to get up. That was the time when I almost gave up. I threw the bicycle on the floor and found a chair sit. I felt really tired and angry. After a few minutes, my mom said," Don't give up. " So, I did not give up. I got up, and started riding. I did not fall down this time! Not at all! When I went pass my parent's friends and kids, they said to me," Well done, Michelle!" It made me feel proud. After a few minutes,I fell down on a bridge. " It's okay.", I said to myself. Keep trying! Now I know the things you can do from preventing the bicycle form falling down. First, you get one feet on the bicycle and ride. Second you put the other feet on the bicycle. Last, you put body straight. Remember, ALWAYS keep your body straight and look forward! When the two hours was over, we went back to the store to return our bicycle. All of us voted that I should come to Winter Mountain Park again next time!

Chinese New Year

What is Chinese New Year? Chinese New Year is a time when the whole family get together and celerbate. At this time children will get red envelope, inside it is money. The day you get it,you put it under your pillow for goodluck. Also, Chinese New Year is a time when people set off fire-crackers, to scare away beasts. There are a lot of tales that tell you about the Chinese New Year story. Not only celerbating and setting off fire-crackers, we also make wonderful food for our god. Now you should that Chinese New Year is a very big hoilday, for all Taiwanese people!!

The BFG

The BFG is about giants and people. There are nine giants and there names are Bloodbottler, Fleshlumpeater, Meatdripper, Gizzardgulper, Maidmasher, Manhugger, Bonecrunching, Childchewer, and the BFG. Every giant expect the BFG(Big Friendly Giant)eats human. The BFG thinks it is wrong to eat humans, but does the other giants care? NO! One day, the BFG goes to give children sweet dreams, and Sophie saw him? Any human bean that saw any giant, must be taken to Giant Country. So, the BFG took him. Together, they are going to sto ppthe ginat from eating human beans forever!
My favorite character is the BFG. That is because he is so nice! He not only cares about humans, he also give human happy and wonderful dreams. Best of all, he stops the giant from eating humans! I wish I was sophine, so I could sit in his ear, I watch everything. I would be so great!
P.s This is the second story I am writing for the ball thing!

Why?

Why? This is how everything started. I was playing with my cousin, when he showed this ball thing. When you pull the ball on the playing card, it turns into a dragon. This ball thing goes with a TV show. So, my cousin was playing and he asked me if I wanted to buy one. I said I wanted to buy one. The problem is, I don't have money! Then my mom said that if I bought the toy, I would have to write three stories. Why three stories? That is because when I write a stories , I get 50NT. The toy costs 150NT, so that means I will have to write three stories. Here I am, writing a story. This is the first story i will write out 3. Ok, now lets talk more about that ball. The ball has different color and different meaning for it. For example, I bought the blue ball, which means water. When you use this to play games. Each ball has a number. The higher your number is, the stronger your ball is. So, I brought this ball and it's number is 250. Not very strong. I think the highest is 550.

Fantastic Mr. Fox

Fantastic Mr. Fox is about three very rich farmers and twenty-nine animals. Those animals includes foxes, beavers, yellow mice and rabbits. One fine day, when Mr. Fox was going out to find food for his family to eat, BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! The three farmers shot his poor little tail! Ever since that day, any animal that came out of that hole where Mr. Fox and his family lived, would be shot! The problem is, how will all the animals that live in the hole find food to eat? Dig under the hole. So, Mr. Fox and Mr. Beaver dug to the below the three farmer's houses. This, is Fantastic Mr. Fox fantastic story!
In this story, my favorite character is little fox. That is because he helped all the animals get soda to drink! He's such a kind little fox! The character I hate the most is the rat. That is because he is very, very selfish and have no manners. For example, when the little fox and Mr. Fox went to get soda, the rat told them to get away, so that he could drink soda alone. So mean!
The ending of this story is that the three farmers, still sitting beside the hole, waiting for the animals to come out and be shot. I think this is a boring ending. If I was the author, I would make the ending more fun. I would tell the reader if any of the animals was going to get killed. Or maybe the animals had built an underground castle! This is what I think should be changed. Maybe the real author should really change the ending!
Do you know? This book was written by Roald Dahl! He is one of my favorite authors! I have read many of his book, For example, The BFG. I hope my school will let as read it sometime!

Piano Concert

Next year, I'm going to have a piano concert . What should I play? Hmmm......................... My father wants me to play High School Musical, and my mom, wants me to play Mozart. I prefer to play Mozart. There's no reason, I just like it!? Which would you prefer? Why? Last year I played a Taiwan folk song, it was lovely. I guessed a lot of people liked that song! Well, anyways I'm practicing Mozart ,and I feel like I'm a musician!

Hoot

This story is about one day,when Roy was on the school bus, a bully names Dana pushed him to the window. When Dana pushed him to the window, Roy saw a boy his sane age running with the school bus. Roy thought the boy was late and wanted to catch up, but as he got closer, he ran away. As roy figure out who that boy is, they get a misson. What kind of misson? saving the owls!i would give this book a 4.99999999999999999 star ( total 5 stars) because it really makes me happy and wanting to read on. If any of you readers are travling, you could bring this book along too!

WHY?

Hello readers! I am very sorry that I haven't writen blogs in 3 months! I think because I haven't writen blogs, my English is getting worse! Don't you guys think? You might be thinking why I have not writen so many blog in months, and i will tell you why. The first reason is because I have to study chinese, and when I am finished studying, it's my bed time! My favortite part is when Hillary and Sara-Kate become friends. i like it because it makes me think of friendship. Friendship is so ething you need in life. If you didn;t have friendship in your life, It could be a mess. You would have no one to listen to your feelings, or no one to play with you in your age. REALLY A MESS! Starting in Taiwan3

Bad News! This Friday we are having a monthly exam ! It means we are getting a test on chinese, math, social studies, scence, health, and English! I'm not worried about English, I'm worried about chinese! First reason I'm worried: my classmates will laugh at me; if I get a bad grade. Second reason: my dad is going to " Bust me". Last reason : It will be very very very quiet when we are having the exam which will make my scary. Does this monthly test sound scary to you????? 2 more days than we are having the BIG FAT SCARY MONTHLY EXAM!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! So scary! It was be so scary that I will scatch my skin off!( Then my dad will get really. really mad at me!) Wish me luck. P.S I will wear a wig if I get a bad grade so, if you see my wearing a wig, you know what that means!

Starting School in Taiwan 2

It's been about 3 weeks seen I started school. The school in Taiwan is very different from my school in the USA. For example, in Taiwan when we are finished with lunch, we go right to break time. ( that means to sit at you desk quietly) But in the USA, we go right to recess. A lot of differents you could talk about! Right now, I think I have a pretty good start on making friends. Why do I think that? it is because when I need help in school work, my friends come and help me. Another reason I think I have a good start on making friends is because we talk to each other. When people talk to each other, they get to know more about each other. And, that's good. So, I think so far I'm good!!!!!!

Starting School in Taiwan

Starting school in Taiwan is very hard for native speakers of America like me, Michelle Tao. Well, usually is it hard for people like me. I am starting school in Taiwan on Tuesday, August 29, and I feel kinda weird and creppy right now. My parents say that my chinese well get better and better when I go to 6th grade, but I'm not sure. Anything could happen at school. Like maybe someone threw up at school, or maybe you got and F on a big test. I'm telling the truth, ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN AT SCHOOL!!!!!!!! And that is why I feel werid and creppy. I hope you readers get the point. Well, We'll see what happens at school and hopefully nothing bad will happen! WILL BE CONTINED LATER!!!

Writing a story

Dear readers,
Do you sometimes wonder how to write stories? Well, if you do I can tell some things you will need to know when you are writing a story. When you are writing a story, you don't just write them down! You have to check you spelling, see if the things you are writing makes sense, and make it interning! You also need to write the story in order.

When I go back to Taiwan... When I stay in America...

When I go back to Taiwan, I will like the loudness of people talking, the chinese food there, and my relatives. Well , there is only one thing I don't like... the schools. Well, I'm not trying to say that the schools are bad there, what I am saying is that I don't like the lunches they give us. I mean, in the U.S, you get to choose what you want to eat, but in the some schools in Taiwan you eat what they give you. The lunches both in U.S and Taiwan are good, it's just why in U.S you can choose what to eat, and in Taiwan, you eat what they give you? I don't understand.
I like America because, I can be with my friends, go to a school where you can choose you lunch, and learn English. But there is one I won't be able to there, see my relatives.
The point is, I have to go back to Taiwan because it is my home country, but I will miss America. What should I do? I know! When I go back to Taiwan, I could visit America sometime. Does it seen like a good idea to you?

My trip to Germany ( Chapter 2)

On June 15, 2006, I was in Nurnberg, Germany getting ready to go a city in Germany, Munich. To get there, my dad and I rode the train. Inside the train station, it was big. It was probably 1/5 the size of an airport. The train took about 1-3 hours to get to Munich. It was kinda easy to find where to get on because the instructions how to get on the train was very clear. When we were in Munich, it was quick to find our hotel because the train station ( in Munich) ,was very close to our hotel. The next day, we went to Salzburg, Austria ( Mozart's birthplace) for a tour. As the same, we got there by train. WOW! The view was so good! You could see mountains with snow on the top, cows eating grass, and the beautiful place , Germany. When we were there, and finished with the tour, the tour guy, said" Now, you can ahop around here and look around here, and we'll met here in 2 hours." ( there was other people on this tour, that why there were "we" in the sentence) For those 2 hours my dad and I went to Mozart's birthplace and some other stores like " The egg store"( The store that sells only painted, and sewed eggs) . In Mozart's birthplace building, it shows where Mozart was born, pictures of his family, and the actual plano Mozart played in when he was little. After the two hours was over, we rode the train back to Munich, went back to our hotel, and went to sleep. When I grow up, I want to go to Salzburg again.

My trip to Germany (Chapter 1)

On June 13, 2006 I was on an airplane on my way to Germany! How exicted I was ! Flying to another country! When I was there , I couldn't understand anything the people in Germany was saying, so it took a while to go the place my dad and I wanted to go (Dresden) , but it wasn't really hard. When we were in Dreden, we had to transfer to Nurnberg by the train. ( A place in Germany where my dad and I were staying for the night) Wow, the train was long, and white! Inside the train it was just kinda like the train Harry Pottor rode in. When we were there, I had no clue where were. (I only knew that we were in Nurmberg , Germany.) Beliveve me, but it took about 1 WHOLE hours to find which hotel we were staying for the night. When we were in oour hotel room, my dad and I 's feet were VERY VERY sore! Plus, our luggage was broken! So my dad had to carry our 53 pound luggage full of clothes for 1 WHOLE hours! Very tired!
The next day when, my dad and I were walking around the city, people had different flags with them. Why ? Because of the World Cup in Germany! It was very nosiy and FULL of people in the city! Wow! If you were a child and were in that group of people, you would probaly be squased and injuryed right now.

Learning Festival

In May 20th, 2006 was the Learning Festival. As usual, every 4th grade class would perform a musical performence for their family and friends. Now, I was one 4th grader. I was standing on stage! So many people here, it's just, weird. 5,4, 3, 2, 1, start! We , my class, started perform songs and those people were looking at us.
When the performence ended, I said to myself, " Well, I'm gald that the performence is done!" I went to the activities ( that were in the Learning Festival ) like face painting, and it was so fun! I choose the design I wanted for my face and got it painted. After the whole Learning Festival ended, I said to myself," I wish that time didn't go so fast!"

The Theif Lord

Hi readers! Today, or mostly I tell my favorite part of the story. Right? Well, since this book is a special and intersting book, I, will tell you what basicly, the story is about.( Not my favorite part.) READY?
Once, not very long lived two children named Bo and Prosper.There mother died a few years ago and their only, and ONLY relatives were their aunt. There was rich, but... kind of creepy, so Bo and Prosper didn't want to live with their aunt. So, they RAN awaY.And all kinds of mysteries happen, and it just so happen they they end up living in a movie theater. Weird.

" Go away bees!"

This is a TRUE story that just happened to me a few days ago!

A few days ago, when I finished my homework, I went outside to a playground to play. On my way there, three were 5 BIG, LARGE, FAT, AND UGLY bees blocking my way. I was soooo scared! " Come down Michelle, relax, nothing is going to happen to me," I said to myself. But, that did not help. " Help......, HElp.........., HELp.............., HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am being attaked my these BIG, LARGE, FAT, AND UGLY bees!" I said. But no one came and helped me. I was all alone with these bees. " Today, is my UNlucky day." I said.

Just then someone was making there way to the playground. (They didn't notice the bees.)And I said to myself, if that person can go to the playground without being scared, then I can go to the playground without being scared too! So, I quickly ran to the playground and was not scared of the bees any more. ( P.s to people that are reading this, I am still kind of scared, still.)

My favorite part
Once, not very long, lived a little girl. She was about four and a half and was really smart. Smarter than a smarty pants, i have to tell you. Her parents didn't really care about her, but she cared about them.
One fine morning, when no one in her house was awake yet, Matililda put super glue on her dad's hat! When her dad woke up and wore his hat, the super glue was stuck on his head. " Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"Have you ever done something like that?

The Doll Family

About this wonderful Story

Long ago, in a doll family a doll was missing, her name was Aunt Sarah . Every doll in her family was alive, just like us, humans. So they could walk, run, cook, eat, and every other thing you can do. What happened to her? How was she missing? Well, her relatives wanted to find out, but.... they couldn't. Why? I'll tell you. You know, that if you had dolls, they would have to stay in the exact place you put them, right? So, if they went finding Aunt Sarah, they might forget where you putted them, and get in truoble. What I mean by trouble is that the "humans" will find out that the dolls are real. And if they know, the dolls will get a punishment and become fake FOREVER. But one day, Annabelle and her friend take the risk to find Aunt Sarah. Will they make it or not?

Little House 4 - On the Banks of Plum Creek

The surprising part.....................
Laura's Famiy, Ma,Pa, Mary(Laura's big sister), Carrie(Laura's little sister), and Jack(Laura's bulldog)moves to another place to live.After a few days living in their new house, a stange cloud covers the sun. Inside the cloud wasn't water or snow it was grasshopers. AHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! The grasshopers were falling down from the clouds, so many,oh so many! Millions and billions of grasshopers soon were all over the grass and wheat! Just then, Pa said," Oh no! They're eating our wheat! How will we pay this house if we don't have wheat to sale!" Pa went outside the house. The vegetables were being eaten and so was the grass and wheat . Oh no. The next day ma discovered something. A hole. Inside was grasshopers eggs. " Oh no! Soon more grasshopers will come ouut and eat more of the vegetables and wheat!"Try to find how many "Oh no" there is!

Getting Near to Baby

A sad part

A baby whose name was baby was drinking her bottle of water. That night, she was crying and got a fever." Maybe she got a fever because she's starting to grow teeth", said her mother. But she was wrong the next day. Baby's family, Little sister, Willa Jo, her mom, and her dad went to the doctor to see why Baby was so sick. "What did Baby drink?" said the doctor." Water.", said mom, " We didn't drink the water, only Baby did." Oh-h. The water must've been bad water! In this afternoon, mother inivted people over for Baby's depth. After days,Little sister did not talk anymore because she was so sad. No one was sleeping, and having fun. SAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Playing Plano

Playing plano is kind of fun and kind of boring because of a new song. At first, when I play a new song, I felt boring. I didn't even know that song. BORING!!!!!!!!! But then, as I begin to remember the song in my head, I started to play really well. I thought," What a beautiful song!! " (Maybe not) But sometimes when I know it really well, I will say............

Am I going to be governor in my class?

Last Friday, March 3rd, 2006 was my class's election day. It was when the people who wanted to be governors of our class come up to the front of the room and tell us what he or she would do, promise, make, and change. Well, I wanted to be a governor. So I had to tell what I would do,promise, make, and change. I was very nervous and shy. I wanted to yell out,"EVERYONE, STOP LOOKING AT ME! LOOK AT THE TEACHER INSTEAD!" But I couldn't. Because.... I told everyone the things I would do if I was the governor of the class. After I was finish everyone clapped for me and I ran to the back to my seat as fast as I could. After the people who wanted to be governor told everyone things they would do, change, make, and promise, we started to vote. We wrote on a card who we wanted governor, and then gave it to our teacher, Miss Cerwinske. Miss Cerwinske tallied who wanted who, and then said ," We have our governor! Peter!" it wasn't me! Oh well, at least in my heart I knew I did the best I could do.

This is a true story!

Today, March 4th,2006 was my second chess tournament day. It was in downtown, so it only took about 10 minutes to get there. When I was the there, I looked around at the place where the tournament was. Oh my! There were only 2 girls,Emily and I,and the rest were boys. AHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! " Everyone, come to the big room!", said a chess master. The chess master told us the rules and if I had any questions, I could just rasie my hand. Then, chess master told us to play black or white,(the color of the chess pieces)and who to play. Round 1! I thought of ideas to take to king. Hmmmmm. At the beganing of the game I thought I was going to lose. "check, check check!"(that's when a piece can take your king and you have to escape) I had to escape. So I moved a piece. Then I started to try hard. And in just that minute, I won the game. Round 2! I met a robot.And robots win all the time. So, I lost. Round 3! On no! I was playing one of the people in my group! I played really hard but I moved one piece wrong. LOST! Round 4! oh!!!!!!!!! Bad luck for me! I moved a piece wrong and lost. Well, I least I won 1 game instead of none! Next time, I am going to try to win 2 games instead of one.

On Feb.18,2006 it was my first chess tournament day. My dad and I were in the car on our way to Honey Creek Middle School, where the tournament. When we were there, there were a lot of people. Some people were practicing chess, some were talking about chess, and some pe0ple like me was nerovus. " Round 1!" I heard. It was tine to play people that I don't know just that how I played on the web. The first round we played was bad. The people we played were like robots. Robots always win. So, we lost in the first round. The second round was kind of good and kind of bad to me. At the begin of the game, it seemed like I was going to win. (That's the good part.) But then, I move one thing wrong and lose the game. The last round. I wored really, REALLY hard. But like I said again, I got one move wrong so I lost the game. It was very sad for me. But now, I am going to practice more harder every day and get better. At the next tournament, I am going to get better!

Today I went online at google. And I searched "African Indiana Americans." I wanted to find an African Indiana person so I could write about it for my "extra credit homework" I looked under the the things google prefered. And clicked on one of them. I read the artitle on there, but all it talked about was Martin L. King. It doesn't mean I don't like him, it just not what I am looking for. So, I searched for the same thing again expect I typed," African American Hoosiers" and searched it. I look uder the list and clicked" African Americans"on it. On thank god! There were names of some african americans. I looked at where they were from, but none of them were from Indiana, and none of them were hoosiers. How could this be? I thoght google was useful. Well, Maybe for adults, (I think) but not for kids. Do you think I am right? Or do you think I am wrong/

My favorite part is when Rose Parks did not listen to the bus driver when he told her to stand up because she was sitting in the front. This is my favorite part because Rose Park that people know she was in jail because of what she did, so that the people would want freedom to come. If freedom comes, blacks and whites cou ld go to school, and every thing that happened like the KKK would change. The second reason this is my favorite part is because I throght Rose Parks was brave. When the bus driver said if she wouldn't get up he would call the police, she didn't listen to him. I think she was brave because she didn't listen to anyone but herself. Do you think she is brave? This week is the national forgiveness week amd I would like to be forgiven for the bad actions and behaviors I have done in my life. One of the stories.................................
It started when my mom and I were in the mall, shopping together. My mom LOVED shopping at Old Navy , but I didn't. So, I said to my mom, " I hate shopping at Old Navy! You only buy clothes and jeans there!" I said to my mom loudly. My mom was very upset. That day, was the worst behavior I ever did, and I would like to be forgiven.
I wasn't the only one that had bad actions and behaviors, my friend had bad actions and behaviors too. She was my neighbor, and everytime when I needed someone to play it was her. It was fun to play with her until one day.
"I want to play with rocks!" she said.
"No,no! Michelle, that's not a pretty rock to play with!" She said.
It made me really angry. She was being bossy. She wasn't even listening to what I was saying! I think I should tell her how I feel about her being bossy. I also think I should remind her that she is not the boss, and we could take turns playing what we want.

The sad begining......
Remember in the book" Little house in the Woods"? Laura and Mary lived in the little house. And just miles away were thier familes. But one day Laura and Mary's pa said," It's time for us to move." "Why now?" said Ma, Laura and Mary. " " Because if we go next week to the west, we can't get across the Mississippi after the ice breaks." After that sentence, they started to pack. All of there familes waved good-bye to them. So sad. So so sad. I have a big reason why I think this part is sad. The reason why I think it's sad is because you have to leave you friends and family that just live miles away from you. And go to another place that you don't even know. And another school, house, and friends. When you get to that new place, you feel shy, but ou have a new life. Is this a sad part or a happy part or both?

My favorite part:
My favorite part in the story is when santa claus comes. It is about when the children in little house, Laura, Mary, Alice , and Ella wakes up on Christmas. Around their Christmas tree, it was full with PRESENTS. The children with a lot of excitment open them up in a hurry. They got dolls, mittens, and a long flat stick of red-and-white-striped peppermint candy. I have two reasons why I like this part. The first reason why I like this part is because of Christmas. When Christmas comes, you get presents, Christmas cards, and have a party in your class! All those fun things to do. And plus winter break! Fun! Fun! Fun! The second reason I like this part is because of family. You get to see your relatives just like Lunar New Year! You get to talk together, play together, and have dinner with people you haven't see for a year.

The favorite part I like is when the oldest inhaditant in town plays the game"Double solitaire" with Jane , the middle Moffat. I have two reasons why this is my favorite part of thhe story. The first reason I like it is because my favorite game is Double solitaire and in my favorite part, it talks about B. Buckle playing the game"Double solitaire"with Jane. The second reason I like this part is because I saw some friendship going on. You don't see this kind of friendship a lot of times. Do you mostly want to play games with people your own age? Yeah. Hi! My name is Michelle Tao. I am 23 years old. I come from Taiwan. I am an author in in Taiwan. I don't write Chinese books I write English books because I think Chinese are harder than writing English. You may wonder, why do you want to be an author? Well, that's because my favorite book called: The Tale of Despereaux, was a great book. It had lots of details, it desrcribed a lot about what's happening, and it was reward. I thought, well I love that book so much, now I am going to make a great book just like the book"The Tale of Despereaux". That's why I want to be an author.
I decide to name the book," The Small Giant. I wasn't alone on the book, my best friend drew pictures because I wasn't good at drawing and she was. She didn't understand English so I wrote the story and she did the drawings. It was my first time making a chapter book. I was so excited about publishing because I wanted it to be award, so I did my best, and my best friend did her best. Finally, we finished the book. We published the book and it was award! This was the best day every!
I wrote this book because it will that me become an great author just like the author of "The Tale of Despereaux". When I write more books the people will want to read mt books and I will be a popular author.

Which takes up more space... a pickle or a stomachahe ?

I think the amount of space a pickle can take is 12 grams. I think it is 12 grams because every small food can weigh about 12 grams. One food that takes the same the space is a little piece of cake. I predict it takes the same amount of space because it is a small food.
Next, what is the amount of space a stomachahe takes up? I think the pain of a stomache takes up a lot of space after you eat your dinner . There is a lot of food in your stomach so your stomach gets bigger and then you have a stomachahe. That's why I think it takes a lot of space when you have pain after dinner.
I think when you get a stomachahe it takes up more space. My first reason is because a pickle weights 12 grams and a pain can't even be measured in grams, so it has to be more than 12 grams. My second reason is that anyone can tell which takes more space by thinking if it is a small or big food or stuff we use.

So then, awhile they saw one volcano erupt out there and in old times people don't know about it but they believed Pele {PAY-lay} the godness of volcanoes lived there. And so they believed that Pele made the volcano eruptand mae rock melt. So years and years went by, and it become the Hawaii volcano native park. And now scientists know about volcanoes. One thing they know about is that after the volcano erupt it become lava. And the second thing is that Pele did not live there and it was a inmaginetion of Pele.
