Hi! My name is Michelle Tao. I am 23 years old. I come from Taiwan. I am an author in in Taiwan. I don't write Chinese books I write English books because I think Chinese are harder than writing English. You may wonder, why do you want to be an author? Well, that's because my favorite book called: The Tale of Despereaux, was a great book. It had lots of details, it desrcribed a lot about what's happening, and it was reward. I thought, well I love that book so much, now I am going to make a great book just like the book"The Tale of Despereaux". That's why I want to be an author.
I decide to name the book," The Small Giant. I wasn't alone on the book, my best friend drew pictures because I wasn't good at drawing and she was. She didn't understand English so I wrote the story and she did the drawings. It was my first time making a chapter book. I was so excited about publishing because I wanted it to be award, so I did my best, and my best friend did her best. Finally, we finished the book. We published the book and it was award! This was the best day every!
I wrote this book because it will that me become an great author just like the author of "The Tale of Despereaux". When I write more books the people will want to read mt books and I will be a popular author.

Which takes up more space... a pickle or a stomachahe ?

I think the amount of space a pickle can take is 12 grams. I think it is 12 grams because every small food can weigh about 12 grams. One food that takes the same the space is a little piece of cake. I predict it takes the same amount of space because it is a small food.
Next, what is the amount of space a stomachahe takes up? I think the pain of a stomache takes up a lot of space after you eat your dinner . There is a lot of food in your stomach so your stomach gets bigger and then you have a stomachahe. That's why I think it takes a lot of space when you have pain after dinner.
I think when you get a stomachahe it takes up more space. My first reason is because a pickle weights 12 grams and a pain can't even be measured in grams, so it has to be more than 12 grams. My second reason is that anyone can tell which takes more space by thinking if it is a small or big food or stuff we use.

You ___________________ house burned down to the ground. Come with me, I need to find a place for you to live. The Baudelaires' follow him/her. They live in his/ her house on that night because Mrs./Mr. ______________ hadn't found someone relative to them. It was Count Olaf. The Baudelaires' moved in his house. He made them do cooking and stuff that I belive no children should do.
And that is my favorite Part.

Junie B., First Grader Cheater Pants

I belive that people all over the world dou't like to cheat but not bad guys. Well, see this story tells about a girl name Junie B cheats a little sometimes. When he teacher, Mr.Scary told the class to take out their homework Junie B was shy because she didn't to her homework. So you know in America, children take turns taking the attendance to the office. And it was May's turn to take the attendance to the office so she went, and when she went, she left her home work on her desk so Junie B COPIED her homework. So when so got home, she gave her parents a note from her teacher and she ran to she room. Her parents saw the note and went to her room and told her not to do it again. So she didn't.

Mary Poppins Comes Back

Mary Poppins use to be the children of Banks' babysitter. Mary poppins comes back one day from nowhere. the children had alot of adventures. Like when Jane, lthe oldest child of all broke her mom's favorite bowl and so they went to Mary Poppins's cousin's house to fix the bowl. At last, they rode on da carousel ride and Mary Poppins disappears on that ride.

This is about :
Joth likes chocolate. One day, he sees one coin and got a box of chcoklate. He eats it and everything he touch it turns into chocolate!. So at the end it tells that Joth goes to the store where he brought his chocolate and the store keeper turns him back so know, everything he touchs will not turn into chocolate.

My summary of Doug's Power Trip

Doug was a moniter. If some body didn't follow the rules Doug would be the one telling them that. But one day, a girl who Doug liked was running in the hall way! So Doug had to give her a card that saids that said she can't ever run again. Doug retired the job because he gave her a strip which the girl he liked won't like him anymore.

This is a real story that just happened on May 26 to May 28
Chapter 1 When I went to see the Metropolitan Museum of Art
It all started when I was walking in the art museum. I went in and my dad, Chen- Chao-Tao said" I'll go buy tickets for you, your mother, and ofcourse me. So I went to buy tickets with him and then I went in to the art of museum. We saw lots of drawings that my mom and dad liked were Imprelssionism but the pictures they liked I don't like! And there was one picture was multiumedia I liked but my mom and dad don't like! Okay, maybe my mom and dad liked a little but they still don' t like the picture I liked. And that's how I feel about the art museum. End of chapter 1 !

Chapter 2 Going to see the Statue of Liberty
8:00 in the morning me and my dad woke up. My mom didn't wake upn because she had seen the statue of liberty before. Me and my dad went out of the hotel and went on the subway. But just then, My dad said" We are not on the right subway! so we got off the subway and we ask somebody how to get to the sttue of liberty. We went buy tickets tp ride on the boat and you know that we were the first ones on the boat! How happy is it to be the first one on the boat? So we got off the boat and went to see the statue of liberty. End of the story.

A culd call: Pee Wee Scouts are going to a farm where there is lots of turkeys. When Sonny sees the turkeys he says that he want one! So his mother by is. But after a few days his mother says that his can not keep that turkey he has to take back to the farm! So everybody will not ever eat turkey again. Is Wayside School is Falling Down
To begin this book, I have to tell you that wayside school WAS going to have 1 floor with 36 rooms but, instead the workers who built Wayside School built 36 floors with one room in each floor！ Can you beliveve a school like that? So the story goes that children in Wayside School were sitting in their seat working and learning. Just then, all the cows were coming inside the school running around! Mrs. Jewls one of the teachers in the school was ringing her cowbell so that the children would know where they are going.

When Junie B got her new lunchbox. She got her new lunch and put it under her desk. But the only plomen was that she keep looking at her new lunchbox! May who sits by her is a tattletale peason. One reason I like this is because I like the way that Junie B keep looking at her lunchbox.

My favorite part is:..

That it is kink of that a mystery. And my faorite part is that the baboons are big and they look like men. But they are not men. My one reason I like it is because I like the way it is.
My 2nd part I like is way the hotelkepper says not to go and swim on the ocean . But the pig do not listen and went and then, the pig's pant fell off. It is so funny.

Swamp Monster in Third Grade

My favorive part is...

That the swamp monster came friends with four human beams. And one of the friends said that the monster can come on a sleep over and it was okay because their parents think that the monster was doing a preting with his friend. So one day, the monster got in to class and the teacher asked the monster a question a the minster's answer was right! I like that because I never seen a monster that walk in to a clas and got a question right.

This story happens in Decmber. It all started when grandpa Armand promise his grandchildren that they would go see the Chirtmas father who ask children what they want for Chirtmas.
So the three children what theyu want foer Chirtmas. And you know what? The children ask for a real house! '' That is inpossible!'' said the Chirtmas father. My reason I like it is because I never heard a child that want a house!

That when Opal goes to the martet, to buy a box of macaroni and chess, white rice, and two tomatoes. When she saw all the tomatoes was rolling around and guess what? It was a dog. Rolling all the tomatoes. And ofcourse you know that dogs cannot go inside a martet. So the boss said''whoevers dog this is take it outside! You know that dogs aren't allowed in here! If this is no one's dog, it wil go to the pound!''

Mr. Popper's Penguins

My favorite part:


Mr. Popper was famous because of his penguins. If Mr. Popper didn't have the penguins, his family could poor. So they were going to the theater and when they came in you know what the policeman said '' Hold that man''. And the policeman said''You've broken into my theater and thrown the place into a panic, and that's what you've done. So that was it Mr. Popper and the penguins WERE IN JAIL! Then, for a few hours, Admiral Drake who was the person that gave Mr.Popper the penguin. Admiral said ''I think that it is time for the penguins to go back to the north pole.'' So it was good-bye time, Mr. Popper said good-bye and then Admiral said "You can come with us to the north pole. And Mr.Popper sit on the train to get to the north pole and off the train went. Michelle Tao's comment: I think this part of the story is the most wonderful part of it.
