Starting School in Taiwan

Starting school in Taiwan is very hard for native speakers of America like me, Michelle Tao. Well, usually is it hard for people like me. I am starting school in Taiwan on Tuesday, August 29, and I feel kinda weird and creppy right now. My parents say that my chinese well get better and better when I go to 6th grade, but I'm not sure. Anything could happen at school. Like maybe someone threw up at school, or maybe you got and F on a big test. I'm telling the truth, ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN AT SCHOOL!!!!!!!! And that is why I feel werid and creppy. I hope you readers get the point. Well, We'll see what happens at school and hopefully nothing bad will happen! WILL BE CONTINED LATER!!!

Joke Time

1. Is your refrigerator running?

Please answer the joke and I will tell you what that means.

I miss my USA home

Poem by Michelle Tao

I came to Taiwan yestrday,
feeling a little sad.
I already missed my USA home, which was in Bloomington,IN.
I remembered the swimming pool I used to go to,
And the playground I use to play in.
The friends I made,
And the school I use to go to.

I said to myself,
"Don't be sad,"
" You have your family with you."
That made me feel better.
